World Computer Hacker League Launches Four-Month Global Hackathon for Next-Gen Apps on Internet Computer

The DFINITY Foundation and ICP HUBS Network have unveiled the World Computer Hacker League 2025 (WCHL25), a four-month global hackathon aimed at fostering the development of production-ready applications on the Internet Computer blockchain. Registrations are now open for the event, which runs from July through October.

Participants will gain access to weekly mentorship from technical experts, comprehensive workshops, and opportunities to pitch projects to leading Web3 investors. Unlike traditional hackathons, WCHL25 offers an extended timeline for teams to build, test, and deploy fully functional decentralized applications.

The initiative underscores the growing institutional interest in blockchain-based solutions, with the Internet Computer ecosystem positioning itself as a hub for next-generation decentralized software development.
